Jeff or Michael,

I am using the Sort By & Explore functions on the GeoPortal. Is there a
way for these to find files with "Upload Errors" and "Saved Sessions".
Neither of these will appear in a search query.

Thanks,

The search results and explore page contain generally accessible content, which means things that are useful to all users on the site. This includes completed (i.e. successfully imported) datasets, snapshots, and people.

Saved sessions are individual workspaces, and are only accessible to the person who saved them. You can find them in your library (click "My Home" at the top of the page). If you find the "Show" menu and select "Sessions in progress", the list will filter to show only your saved sessions.

Datasets that did not upload successfully are also not shown in the search results or explore page because they can't be used. They are also listed in your library, although there isn't a simple filter option to show only these. You can filter to see just datasets, and then see the ones that caused errors by their look -- they will have different icons if they are still in the queue but not yet processed, or if they failed during the import.

I'd like to mark this query as resolved and make it public so other users can view the response. Is this OK with you?

    Yes, no problem.
